Add Comic Appearances to Character Bios!

I love how the Contest of Champions adds characters from across all of Marvel’s history. It seems like no character is off the table when Kabam releases them every month. From the most well known characters (Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk), to the incredibly obscure ones (Hit-Monkey, Dragon Man, Vision (Aarkus)). With so many characters to use in-game, it would be really cool if Kabam found a way to show where these characters came from. Were they from a movie or from a comic? Were they a side character or did they have their own series? One way to do this: include comic and movie appearances in the characters’ biographies!
Every character’s biography would include up to 3 appearances in their respective mediums. For comics, they would be the name and publication date of their first appearance, their most recent appearance, and a third one of Kabam’s choosing (could be a random cameo, a fan-requested appearance, or specific one from Marvel itself). Here are some examples:
Hit-Monkey:
Hit-Monkey #1 (Feb 2010)
Hit-Monkey Bullets and Bananas (Oct 2019)
Secret Wars Vol 2 #2 (July 2017)
Spider-Man (Classic):
Amazing Fantasy #15 (Aug 1962)
The Amazing Spider-Man #55 (Dec 2020)
Fear Itself #7 (Dec 2011)
Some champions in the game are inspired by movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). For those characters, just list up to 3 movie appearances and their release dates. Examples:
Iron Man (Infinity War):
Avengers Infinity War (2018)
Spider-Man (Stark Enhanced):
Captain America Civil War (2016)
Spider-Man Homecoming (2017)
Spider-Man Far From Home (2019)
This could even be a way to show how Kabam creates their very own characters for this game as well:
Venom the Duck:
Marvel’s Contest of Champions (Oct 2018)
Aegon:
Marvel’s Contest of Champions (Nov 2018)
Why should Kabam do this? To show just how expansive the Marvel Universe is, and to expose new Marvel fans to a vast library of Marvel they might never have been exposed to. If Kabam includes this feature in the game, fans would have a small, but comprehensive list of comics that fans can read and see their favorite characters in. The Contest of Champions could be the gateway to Marvel Comics for so many fans! At the minimum, it would be a neat addition that shares the history of one of the biggest entertainment groups in the superhero genre.
