Corvus without suicides?

New Year's Luck has landed me a Corvus and I immediately ranked him up. But I'm wondering if he would be useful for me in act 6/7 exploration.
Can I get a damage comparison from the community?
Also should if in the case he definitely needs suicides , is he worth rank 3 to get Thronebreaker or should I wait for someone else?
Any tips would be appreciated.
