If you think about the fact that even if you pull a max sig 5* and get shards from the max sig crystal that you'd get 550 6* shards, you ARE getting 200 more shards than you would for those 10k 5* shards. However, this really only makes a LITTLE sense of you REALLY have a stacked 5* roster and would not really benefit from the 5*champ you'd pull.
