Awakening Help!!!!

I'm a proven player. Today I opened a 5 star featured crystal and got Professor X. Now I've got a 5 star Mutant Awakening Gem from previous GGCs pulls. Should I awaken Professor X as I have Omega Red, Havok, Domino, Old Man Logan, Sunspot and Sabertooth as 4 star Mutants and Professor X's synergies make mutants quite good. Also I don't know what Professor X's Signature Ability do. If anyone can tell me, I'd be really thankful.

Man, these proven players are getting 5*s? And they are opening featured five stars? Oh god, I still remember I only had cable and rogue as 5 stars when au became uncollected.

Man "these proven players" play Master EQ to get shards from it. They contribute in summoner advancement objective in their alliance to get a bit of 5 star shards, also got 5,000 5 star shards from holiday calender and got 15,000 5 star shards from GGC that's why they were able to get their first featured crystal. They didn't whale out on shards offers, instead they waited and played to get the shards to open crystals.
