Who to use generic on?

Don't know who to use generics on. Have 2, and thinking about saving 1 and using the other on medusa. Any help would be appriaciated!

    Colossus or Guardian it depends on which class of SIG stones you are stacked with
    Max SIG for Guardian would be nice though
    But you should probably go for colossus

    I am trying to finish up varient 6, and plan on progressing through act 6 more. I dont have many sig stones, they are all being funneled into other champs.
