Heimdall's autoblock is broken (I think)

So I have been doing 6.4.6 and Heimdall has made me lose Ægons combo repeatedly. After triggering his autoblock he seems to be able to react a little too fast which allows him to dash back mid way through your combo.

I'm not 100% sure this is not working as intended but it seems very odd as I do not see any reason how his autoblock is different from a normal block.

Can anyone shed some insight on the situation?

Medusa's autoblock functions the same way, so I'd assume it's all the same.

Are you going completion or exploration? If it’s completion I did the inflation path without too much trouble. The extra attack on Ægon definitely helped (and I could ramp him up on enough path fights)
