Thoughts...?

So, I don’t know if it’s been already talked about...but today, going back and checking some stuff in act 7...I saw the % exploration. Since I’ve 100% 7.1 33% for just one chapter seemed way off...and then something clicked...and I came up with two possible explanations...
1) it’s just a mistake and once 7.2 drops kabam will fix it...
2) as act 6...there are 4 chapters in the rewards section for act 7...so what if...chapter 1-2-3 will all give 33% exploration and chapter 4 will only have one epic boss fight for that 1%.
A fight so hard or complicated that the abyss collector will seem a random realm of legends fight...lol!
This would also serve a second purpose, which is, you wouldn’t be able to bring ramp up champions to the fight...(aegon for example)
Thoughts...?

Just checked past livestreams of 100% act 6 exploration...after 6.1 came out it awarded 27% exploration, with 6.2 it went to 53%...78% with 6.3...
So my second assumption could actually be correct...

Like the idea of that but I hope it's not like the Abyss Collector. That's not a skill-based fight and just a unit drain.

They already did something like this in the event quest with Thanos. The last chapter only had Gauntlet Thanos fight and it was fun.

Yeah I agree...but it was just an example...since it would be only one fight...it’s going to be quite hard to replicate what they did with the grandmaster fight (epic...btw...but being one fight it’s supposed to be even harder)...it’s possible...but who knows

Yeah that’s my thought...I’m just speculating that the %exploration might’ve given it away...

and it doesn't have to be one fight it may be just one path with a couple of fights so 1% will still be reasonable.

Could also be a sort of boss rush path...but still by the looks of it, it could be a 1% path or enemy

I like the idea of this, for certain!
I can't say that I would enjoy an Abyss Collector fight though.

A fight that requires certain actions or champs similar to the Grandmaster fight (but more difficult) would be pretty cool too!

Definitely hoping it’ll be gm style and not abyss collector style...loved the gm fight

well, I said something similar, but yeah you had to fight almost the same Thanos twice if I remember correctly so I thought it was a valid example

Since they are merging Champions in Book 2 (Gwenperion, Ice Phoenix and so on), it could be one really strong merged Boss.

Math doesn’t lie though...lol...so you believe it’s a mistake that they’ll change it...even though act 6 also already had everything set from 6.1...we’ll have to wait and see...
I’m leaning more on the idea that chapter 4 will give the final 1%...wether it’s one path, a boss rush path, or simply one boss...that I don’t know

Ell, maybe 2.1 only has 3 quests? That won’t be probable but anyway I’ll only be reaching act 7 in a year or so.....by the time it will get nerfed and I can cut through it

Each path has 6 fights
2 paths converge into 1 boss (3 in total)

[(6×6) + 3] × 6 = 234

If 33% = 234 fights and we assume the next 3 chapters are equal in number of fights then 1% ≈ 7 fights.

So if what you're saying in 2) is correct, 7.4 will finish off with with 1 fight (presumably a boss) per quest except the last which will have 2 bosses.

Act 7 could end with 7 encounters which would be interesting to say the least...

act 7 doesn't need to be nerfed. It's actually in some ways easier than act 6 and it is the best content they've put out after variants imo. It has paths that reward bringing the right champ. not punishing the player for not having a specific champ. not making us fight the same boss 10 times to get the exploration.
when you get to it you will understand that it doesn't need a nerf, and I think you will like it.

That is correct if you consider 1) that it’s 33% and not 33.3333%... which would also still come out as 33% in the exploration page...and 2) if they leave 6 quests for chapter 4 and not just one with one path or one boss
They could mix things up for chapter 4 and just do one quest...don’t know...but if they’ve already thought of everything for act 7...then they kinda gave away something with that 100% 7.1 exploration %...they could just make chapter 2-3-4 shorter to even it out... but would they...? I personally doubt it...that’s why I’m more of the idea that chapter 4 will just be 1% of all act 7...

Totally agree...act 7 definitely doesn’t need a nerf...maybe a buff...I don’t know if I just had a stronger roster than when I tackled 6...but I found 6 way more demanding and frustrating at times...7 was almost a let down for how easy it was...almost
