No, certain rarer catalysts simply cannot be sold.

100% sure you could sell tier 4 class catalyst before I did it plenty of times, its a bug or they changed it. Like last month you couldn't sell the 40% xp boost but they fixed it.

If you need to spend some of those the only way. If you don’t have any champs to spend them on is to trade in.
Just go to the store and the misc tab and you are able to trade in 2 of a class for a crystal. Then just don’t open the crystal until you need to get more. It’s a lottery and you are going to lose one but it better than lose 2 at least.
