This picture below shows that.. this guy timed out but we didn't got a kill.. but instead we received a kill...pps check upon it

    You do get credited with a Defensive Kill on a Timeout, but it can take a few minutes sometimes for your Stats Page to reflect that. Same with a disconnect kill.
    Close/reopen game and seems to properly refresh your Stats.

    They generally just take a bit longer to register, restart your game
