I recently started playing again after a 2 year hiatus. A lot has changed. My question is simple should I wait to get better 5* or should I use the ones I got so I can progress.

The hood is massively underrated. DDHK was given an overhaul, but he's still pretty average. Your other 5*s aren't great. Can we see your 4* roster to recommend rank-ups?

You have loads of great 4* champs!
She-Hulk, Colossus, Hyperion, Venom, Hulkbuster, Emma Frost, Blade, Voodoo, Quake, Archangel, Guardian, Magneto, Nick Fury, Medusa, Scarlet Witch... just a couple of them that needs an awakening and maybe sig stones.

I’d suggest looking into champion tier lists for some perspective, and look at content you want to clear and what champions will help you do it better (or more fun).

Because you’ve got a lot of good 4*s that can help with progression the only 5* worth upgrading is hood. I would prioritize ranking up captain marvel movie, Nick fury, magneto red, archangel (and hopefully get him awakened), Hyperion, and colossus. There are some others you could look into also but if you can get the people that I just listed ranked up you’ll have a counter for almost everything.

Thank you everyone. I guess my short term goal is be able complete master monthly quests complete act 4 without going through so many potions and be uncollected so I can start getting all the fun stuff.
