Does venom work for abyss green goblin? (No Nick Fury)

Planning on doing path 2 next week but dont have nick fury and really don’t want to get road blocked by this guy. Besides nick who else works for this fight? I’ve seen ppl do it w/ void and magneto but don’t have those guys either. I’ve heard ppl talk about venom for this fight, but I’ve never seen anyone use him. Wondering if there’s any nick furyless players out there who’ve already done this fight. Would like any insight, thanks.
