Comic Book Recommendations

Hey all, I’m fairly new to the comics game, I loved HoX PoX and quite liked Dan Slott’s run on ASM, does anyone have any advice for a new run/series? I’m thinking of picking up Dawn of X, are the DoX trades better than individual titles trades? Thanks for your advice.

Pick-up the original Sentry run of 2000 too. Doesn't have much Marvel action but the origin story is so unique and I loved the whole gritty tone and look of the panels.

Additionally, last year, there was an epic Thor run by Donny Cates which was fantastic.

Edit: Also, if you are interested, mcoc has it's own comic-book tie in released in 2015.

Immortal hulk is a solid run of hulk.
King in black is also pretty good.

If you liked House and Powers of X I would highly recommend Hickman's other works particularly his run on Avengers and New Avengers.

Immortal Hulk is my favorite series as of right now
The Donny Cates Venom series is great
I really liked the Maximum Carnage Spider man run too.

If you like a comic that makes absolutely no sense and is really scary visually, read old man Logan.
If you like a comic that is more about tea than action, read hellcat or squirrel girl.
If you like comics in general, id say to read ihulk, secret empire, or inhuman vs. x-men

Old 1984 Secret Wars are great and important piece. Other than that I would recommend House of M and Sentry from 2000.

And if you wanted to reach out of Marvel, the recommendations will be still same: Watchmen and Preacher
