YellowJacket - NICHE MARKET VERY VeryRARE USAGE.

Personal opinion : Very Very disappointed. Not exactly basic damage oriented buff. at this stage of this game it's difficult. Such a good chance they had.
A stylish character with lot's of potential.
And they completely killed him.

He hits like a sponge
Why remove that sp1 power sting? It wasn't that bad.
If someone pulls YJ as their 1st 4 or 5 star - it won't help them in act 5. (Imo)

It's a shrinking champ with technology.
Had soo much potential

Glance
Evade
Auto repair
True precision strike
Shock
Disorientation
Armour break critical hits
Incenerate
Energy beam

Souch potential yet.....

Frankly what he can do
Others can do it way better and more efficiently.
Reverse regen?
Void - beardo - gillie OG - torch.
Even champs like Spidergwen and wasp has petrify too and hits like a truck.

To say kabam missed the mark on this buff is a huge understatement. His name is YELLOWJACKET and his power stings don’t hold a flame to a god damn cartoon spider pig??? Seriously kabam?
Also ZERO increase to his damage which was so bad.
Lastly, why would you remove power sting from his sp2 and no taunt? We all know without the taunt, the A.I will magically throw their special the SECOND your power stings end lol
Still testing my r2 duped 6* but so far good utility but a lot of opportunities were missed

I think the buff puts him at a playable level, which to me means the buff was a success. Not every champ/rework has to offer a new gamechanging character. I'm also very glad they didn't give him glancing mechanic, it's by far my least favorite part of this game.

My first 4* was OG DD. You know what I did? I used him and used the good abilities he had as best I could. My first 5* was Hyperion, and my second was Iron Fist. I managed to use both up to 5.3. Yellowjacket went from useless to a great first 5*. I see this buff as a win.

I remember using Red Skull and Bishop a lot in Act 4 & 5 because I felt they were good before pulling really good champs. Lol.

If I wanted to bypass unstoppable I still rather use she hulk, spidergwen, red guardian, CAIW.

If I wanted to get around healing then I rather use void, CAIW, HT

If I needed high energy resistance, I rather use guardian.

It's a good buff if you just started the game and pulled YJ, but even then not really because he needs max sig but he will help a bit. There are far better and less max sig dependent champs than YJ.

One of the major problems with YJ is that his damage is in his sig ability. You do not make an average champ and hide his usefulness in his sig ability. No one is going to pump sig stones into him when there are far better options.
A good example is Darkhawk. A solid tech champion that no one uses or even mentions because he needs high sig. They should have learned from that.

All I see here are a bunch of whiney phonies who dont even like the character and only got hyped probably because they were told it would be a rework. Yellowjacket is a one and done character who fits that role perfectly in the game. He has potentially one of the strongest heal reversal mechanics in the game, having it be passive rather through debuffs; he also has the second highest base energy resistance and top 10 physical resistance out of all the champs. He was designed to be a utility champ similar to Warlock, Claire, Sorcerer, etc. with them having average damage output and really good utilities. YJ has been proven to be able to tackle many checkpoints throughout the game. He's not that big of a deal.
