Professor X Heavy Charge Bug

I’m having an issue where after I launch a special attack with Professor X and immediately charge a heavy attack, he is still charging his heavy even after I let go. Is anyone else having this issue?

    It is his mechanic, after the specials he does the channeling. It is part of his gameplay (and of his strenghts).
