Do remember that if you are in UK - 6pm here, is 10am there. So at the minute it is currently 5am in the morning there time, so no they aren't active, as they will be sleeping and bare in mind all they will get when they are here is abuse from a load of 10 year old keyboard warriors.
This "excuse" has been suggested, and properly debunked, in several other threads about the log in problem. To paraphrase what many others have said elsewhere: a game that has millions of players, all around the world, should have 24 hour support. That is a perfectly reasonable expectation. Especially when so many international players spend real money on the game. There should always be someone available to read, and respond to, problems and situations. Particularly massive problems like this one. I myself am in China. Born and lived in New York City for my first 30 years, and moved here two years ago as an English teacher. It is 9:20 pm on Friday evening here. But that's neither here nor there. Bottom line... If the game company wants to market their game to consumers worldwide, and be taken seriously as a legitimate global company, then they should also offer 24 hour support. All other companies do. "We are all asleep" is not an acceptable excuse at all.
