Some AQ questions

So my ally is wanting to run a bg of map 5. We currently run 433, want to do 533. Most people in map 4 are finding it easy with R4 and 5 5*s.

Questions:

1) Can someone link me to a online map or something for this season?

2) What is the difficulty jump between maps 4 and 5?

3) What rank of 5*s would you recommend?

1. https://www.mcoc-guide.com/alliance-quest-map-5-aq-map This one is 95% accurate... just different minis and boos
2. Not much as far as the fights go, but a lot more linked nodes, so it can be aggravating if not everyone is consistently active or if you guys are all in different time zones.
3. I use my r4 Havok, r4 Domino and r5 g2099... usually, no issues at all

@Yodabolt21 thanks mate! We are in lots of different time zones and struggle with inactivity, so linked nodes might be a problem.

We do map 5 in bg1, and we range from from California to India as far as time zones go. WE usually always 100%, but it can come down to the last hour some times due to that.

Basically every path has a linked node of some kind, and there are 8 paths (7 in section 1).

@Riptide it's activity that is the difference between the two maps and the mini bosses.

All AQ maps scale with alliance prestige. We are a 10k alliance and run map 4, but that means drones with 85k health on day 5. The drones on map 5 are about the same, so it's not tougher enemies.

The step up to running map 5, is really the number of linked nodes. If you go prepared, you can steamroll a number of the linked nodes in maps 3 and 4, even multiple linked nodes on the boss on map 3.

There are a lot more 200% boosts on map 5 and passive damage nodes, that you simply have to take out, especially on days 4 and 5, if you are not way above the average prestige in your alliance.

So unless your map 4 bg is very active and they are all willing to turn up and push through map 5, then, maybe skip it. But try it on a day or two, see how it feels, be honest with everyone that it's an experiment and feel it out.

I can't stress enough though, if you want more AQ points, get your prestige up, although doing so does increase difficulty!

@Moosetiptronic yeah, most of our map 4 bg is lots above our prestige. The only reason we run lower maps is because we ar a bit more laid back. We’re planning to try day one and see. Thanks!
