Agreed. War should be about skill, not pocketbooks. Unless defender kill points come back AW will never be fixed.

They really need to bring Defense kills back in aw now it is only about Who wants to spend more items and units for the win If you go for Diversity oppenent will easily get 100% aw is not any fun at all it completely ruïns the game bring Defense kills back So the game is more fun and challenging to play

Yup @Aston316 said it all.

At the end of the day. A strong defense should reward you more than having a "unique" defense. It takes skill and real knowledge to set up a great defense. There's no thought being put into brining in 5 champs who aren't defenders so you can get Defender Diversity points.

not to rub salt in the wound.. but had you done even a 70 or so diversity you would have won that war. 100% agree on defender kills though.. they should be counted.

You guys missed the point. Think of the number of units spent by other team to even try that many number of times! They paid for the units and won. Wasn't that the idea behind the new AW that team with fatter wallet wins?

Yes i get that but the current system is boring and they will start losing players if they dont fix this which will mean less profits long term. Who wants to play a fighting game where skills is not involved in determining who wins or lose????

we lost one today, we cleared other team at around 1800 with NINE deaths in our BG. It didn't matter that they hand hundreds total and bought a win which is exactly what Kabam is promoting. They will never bring back anything that discourages pay to win. Hundreds of posts have been ignored or given lame excuses from the mods, this is just #500 in the queue. You can destroy teams with 0 items used and almost no deaths but if they go diversity and a few go suicides you lost before the war started since the other team will heal until they kill you. This was the master plan all along from a greedy company going down hill. We are finding another game to move our alliance to so I literally hope this sinks this horrible company.

my alliance has dropped from tier 5 to tier 9 because we lost 6wars in a row. we got enough defensive kills and exploration but diversity keeps killing us. I know the objective of AW now is to go completely diverse and we haven't done that, we still bring our magik's, juggernaut and NC 's to the war. But still, how can we have 101defensive kills and opponent has 27 and we still lose. It's the height of ABSURDITY (if that word even exists). We lost the last war by 198points. It's really annoying when that happens.

Have you tried maxing Diversity until they actually bring back defender kills and they matter...? Everyone and their mother's dog knows we need them back, but why aren't you maxing diversity for as long as it's the defining metric? You damn well know they can just revive-zerg your people down, plan for it.

Well your post says it. Btw, having 100 kills (Assuming 3 bgs) isn’t really that many kills. That means 3 or 4 people had to revive (Assuming deaths were even of everyone going to dead with their 3 champs).

And clearing opposing bgs with spider Gwen’s and Luke cages bc the other side went diverse isn’t a testament to your skill. Makes me wonder how u guys died 29 times lol—particularly in tier 9 where the opposition may still be placing 3*s.

And as for the original pic with 81 defender kills. Are you in a shell alliance that just dropped down hoping to take advantage of weaker opponents @TruFlu ? There is zero chance you do that against even a tier 3 opponent with those champs. What tier are you in and did you purposefully drop tier/switch alliances to be in lower tier?

1. We did not lose the war. My point was just to bring back defender kills.
2. We are a tier 3 alliance and not a shell of a former alliance but our opponents were rated almost 4 mil lower than us yet in the same tier more than likely based on the depth of their wallet @Run477

This is why this war setup is messed up. We never stood a chance. They were a 13.5 million alliance against our 9.5 million. Both sides 100% explore and 100% diversity. We win on defender kills (and one of our bgs didn’t even cover a miniboss spot bc defense is pointless so no one checked).

the problem is, when Def kills counted, it means whole diversity point is useless... and people will keep rankup their fav def champ... kabams want all of us to RU different hero dont know what the point of it.. perhaps just to make the "other" heroes usable... big LOL

That simply not true. They can make diversity count extraordinarily high which forces diversity or effectively an automatic loss if you just put in duplicate defenders and then take into account defender kills as well.
