I just lost all my progress in a Variant fight.

I was just in Variant 5 2.1 fighting crossbones when I got an error saying that my account has failed to log in mid fight and I lost all my progress and 50% of my Venom's health for some reason? I was already struggling enough to try to complete this variant and now I have to start over, wasting all the resources I already have on this quest. Wth?

    Not to mention the fight was already over 5 or 6 minutes deep because I had no crit with the node.
