This Needs to be Changed about Nick Fury

Nick Fury’s Second Medium attack is a Gunshot and there is no contact whatsoever. Why does Nick take Thorn Damage from his 2nd Medium attack if it is a non contact attack. CGR has a non contact 2nd medium attack and he doesn’t take thorn damage.

Firstly - CGR’s mediums are not non-contact. They’re just energy damage. This means he takes no damage from korg since his criteria for thorns is physical damage, energy damage bypasses it. CGR still takes damage from electro since his attacks are not non-contact.

With that being said, I’d agree with you, gunshots should be non-contact. But as the above poster said, logic in the real world doesn’t equate to the logic in MCOC. We have a man with a gun that’s more powerful than a herald of Galactus and a monkey that’s more powerful than a guy with the power of a million suns
