Does Armor rating matter when your champs are blocking incoming attacks?

Yes Armour rating reduces damage from hits even blocked ones

All sources of damage reduction matters (except the ones that trigger when struck). I'm not sure in which order though, I suspect BP first and then armor and resistance.
