Apocalypse horseman ability

So I've just pulled 5* apocalypse and managed to take him straight to r3. I've obviously never played him before so am wondering what is the best way to trigger the horseman ability and who are the best mutants to use with him?

    AA, Cable and wolverine I think benefit the most. After Apoc gets 4 charges, normally after 1 fight, You can activate it. The next mutant to fight gets the horseman buff and will conintue to have it until the end of the quest.

    All fights but Mutant give you 1 charge. If you fight a mutant, you will go straight to 4 charges. Once at 4 charges, you can activate Horseman. The next mutant to enter a fight, gets the horseman abilities.

    Thanks for the help guys. Appreciate it. Are there any other mutants that would benefit? Eg. Sinister or havok? I have storm x duped and AA unduped.

    I'd reccomend watching seatins latest video on her and maybe watching Jason vorhees' video on her. in my opinion she's extremely underrated

    I’d like to correct this by saying cable doesn’t benefit from the horseman, just the synergy.


    Out of your roster AA, gambit, and storm pyramid x benefit the most. The best way for apoc to get his charged quickly is fighting a mutant or having the synergy with mr sinister, cable, Kang. Then once you win a fight you can activate the prefight for horsemen and then you have to fight that fight with who you want to make a horseman.
