I read these just now and am confused. Why would you use Elsa in Warlock’s place?
Just made me think of Havok vs Elsa...
Her Damage is faster. Warlock takes longer to build, whereas she has them down within a few Busted and an L1. Half the time I don't ever make it to the L2. She's bomb Attack. Plus that Evade helps from getting whiffed.
Warlock isnt a damage champ..?
If im bursting some small healthpool down i am 99% sure than Domino trinity is faster or Cull is faster.
Where did I say he wasn't a Damage Champ? I said I can have them down faster with Elsa in most cases.
Why would you bring up using her over Warlock though? You arent gonna use Warlock for bursting champs. Of course Elsa will get them down faster.
Because he's one of those "Top Champs" people consider. So there was a point to that. The bottom line is she's really good. If people like her, use her. This business about hating on her and hating on people who like her is a bit juvenile. She's good.
Quake is THE top champ, Elsa bursting people down faster doesnt mean anything.
There's no such thing as any Top Champ in this game. Not in my world.

Yes, she is. However, she isn’t the best. Not even close. The reason she gets “hate” is because there’s a vocal minority that thinks she’s the second coming of ghost or something

That's because they enjoy using her. You actually think there's a "best"? It's all entirely opinion.

...Alright, you do you i guess.
To be clear, I understand the gauges people use to measure Champs and I get the relative scale they set. I'm not blind to it. I just choose to look at Champs as they are, rather than comparatively. I've been the same since there was a God Tier. They all have different strengths and weaknesses, and getting too attached to lists like that can sometimes skew points of view for other usefulness.
If she's your best skill champ, that might not be a good thing. But if you have a developed roster with Fury, Falcon, Blade, etc., Elsa is a great addition because offers unique skills. Kinda like Venom in that she's super good when you can play her in the right matchups. I took mine to 5/65 and use her pretty often. I also find her play-style fun. And this is a game, so fun is a priority for me.

I have Flacon. I have Fury. Don't have Blade above 4*, but I'm not really into him as much. I have many options. I gravitate towards her.

It's not hate, just realism. She's not the top champ people try and make her out to be. Compare her to the top champs of the Skill class and her kit just doesn't compare. She's in that 10-15 group of the Skill class, not 1-5.
Was into Elsa back when her 5* came out. Pulled, duped and took to sig 200.
Used her for a bit (long enough to make an informed decision) and she’s a good skill champ. She has the damage especially vs L/XL and/or science champs. Her kit is unique enough and that’s fun.
My glaring issues with her are as follows:
Her kit essentially reads like she should completely wreck Thing and Rhino, she has the technology. But her evade mechanic sucks ass against unstoppable and it always screws you up when you try to parry. Fighting Thing she has no way to remove rock stacks so if Thing is below a bar of power and at 15 stacks you can’t parry because it will evade/counter and inflict a busted debuff (also counts as a hit) which sends him unstoppable and it becomes a mess. So on paper she’s supposed to be a hard counter for Thing but instead fails pretty bad.
She’s a champion that for the most part requires full combos to end with a light attack to inflict her busted debuff (she does inflict 1 busted with her evade counter but you have to wait until cooldown in order to do this repeatedly) which is ****.
The part in her literature that reads “purifies a non damaging debuff every 2.6 secs” isn’t worded very well (shocker I know) it would seem like any non damaging debuff should purify immediately with a 2.6 sec cooldown between purifies. But it’s actually that the debuff is purified after being active on her for 2.6 secs. Yet I’ve heard from fellow players that she’s purified parry stuns immediately. Inconsistency.
Her evade/counter satisfies any nodes that require an intercept to make something happen ie; Abyss Cage and path 5b in war. She works great against Abyss Luke Cage if you can squeeze her in your team I used her personally for him on 1 of my runs. That’s awesome!
...but even though she’s presumably tailor made for path 5b (Ebb & Flow intercept) oh whattaya’ know it’s redoubled determination. Ridiculous and this is where I gave up on her.
I’ve pulled her 3x from this featured 6*. She’s sig 40 and r1. That’s exactly where she will stay too.
She’s a solid skill champion, I’ll give her that. But skill is lacking as a class. The class itself has kind of developed into a weaker (weakest?) class as this game has evolved. Not necessarily a fault of weak champs but the inherent abilities native to the class itself. Skill is high damage, high crit rates, lots of defensive ability accuracy reduction, purification, bleed dependency. Virtually no actual immunities at all in the class and that’s basically a deal breaker for so much content now.
To summarize NF, Aegon, Falcon, Moley, maybe sprinkle some KP in there. The rest can get bent, that includes Stealth with his dumb 2 hit mediums and required full combo ending light to proc slow. Garbage!
damn guys. this was not what I was trying to start
Lol! So you start a thread titled " why so much Elsa hate" and then you're taken aback by people answering why they hate Elsa?
Pretty funny this logic of yours
Anyway, I'm on the " I love Elsa" bandwagon. I objectively must admit that she is nowhere close to Aegon, NF or Falcon in damage and utility, but I like her playstyle. It's really satisfying to punish bleeds the way she does and to pull off the the right sp rotation/ammo type for a given situation... man when you do you get this huge grin seeing those yellow numbers fly.
She's just fun to play, and that is a perfectly fine reason for loving her.

Edit: wait flacon is actually a word
@GroundedWisdom
The words Domino and Elsa, are triggering the forums community 🤣
