iBom Ebb/Flow Intercept & Redoubled Determination

Just fought a duped iBom on tile 37 in a tier 5 war.

He didn’t start the fight with his 3 self poisons...which I was kind of banking on with my Archangel.

What am I missing?

He also interrupted my heavy as if he went unstoppable. I was definitely fast enough to beat the limber. Something odd is going on.

    The protection node gets rid of all debuffs at the start of the fight since ( even though the node says returns), whenever the protection triggers it removes debuffs, and it counts as triggering at the start of the fight

    Do you think it also interfered with that initial parry?
