1 GB update not compulsory though but just saw this.

    I don't think that this update is mandatory but just wanted to know why is it so large . The game itself downloads around 867 mb data the first time you download it but a 1 gig update is new. But its downloaded now so i guess I'll find out soon.

    They released an optional update for andriod users. No content or fixes, I think it just collects data to help Kabam get to the bottom of the connection issues.

    Do you mean 30.1.1 (for Android) ? Or is there another one ?

    That came out several weeks ago, but as said it is not required.
