    Truthfully, I'm not sure myself. But I noticed the overwhelming abuse of the flag button on this site. This tells me, it's not worth worrying about because you'll get flagged regardless of if you deserve it or not. That will effect your points.

    Its an aggregate score. You gain a point for each like or insightful that a post you make gets. But you lose a point for each flag your post gets.

    You have 3 likes/insightful and 23 spam/abuse. 3 + (-23) = (-20).
