Game Patterns
Hi guys, this is just a random and general thread, but I have been playing the game for 5 years now, I'm just beyond Uncollectable (just got it actually), and I was just wondering if any of you guys noticed a pattern with the opponents when conquering a quest? Bare with me here, I'll explain.
Scenario 1
For example, on a macro level - you start the quest with obviously full health for all your 5 characters, and no matter how WELL you play your opponents, I really often feel like the game is programmed so that by the time you get to the final boss of that quest, you have (for 99% of the cases), either one or two champions both below a very specific amount of health.
Further, on the micro level - when in combat, to arrive at the macro result described above, no matter how well you play a certain opponent - like a perfectly well coordinated fight where you absolutely do not lose any health, all of a sudden there is a glitch or a bug where an attack you place that usually works for you 95% of the time suddenly is intercepted by the CPU and they are able to place a combo that is RIDICULOUSLY disproportionate to what it would normally attack - all in order to make your champion lose the necessary health for your champions to decline progressively throuhghout the quest map, ultimately in order to make you use potions or units and purchase more.
Scenario 2
Another example of how the game would be programmed to make people purchase units is let's say... for event quests! This is a very typical thing that has happened to me many, many, many times :
I start the quest, full health for all of my 5 champions. Then, as I get closer to the boss, I may have like 3 or 4 champions left with relatively good health (around 50%) depending on how well I played the quest. Now, comes the boss : first champion, he dies. Second champion, he dies. Third champion, he dies. Let's say I have 1 more champion left, and that the boss has around 30-40% health left - almost all the time (I would say 90% of the time I have played event quests at the very hard difficulty level), no matter how well I play, I will successfully bring him down to between 4 to 10% (EXACTLY - every single time), before OUT OF NOWHERE he does a combo or a special attack that is almost glitched and I can't even evade or parry it even though I perfectly execute these manoeuvres. Like, the boss's actions are TOTALLY TOTALLY TOTALLY random and ultimately programmed to KO my last character NO MATTER WHAT...
Then, here, I am stuck with no champions left, and a boss that only has 4-10% left of health. Now here, I have no choice but to use a revive, which makes me waste units and eventually buy some, only to finish the boss with a revived champion - which, by the way, no matter which champion I use, I will always be able to finish the boss very easily like it's nothing. As if the CPU knows or is programmed to simply have me use this revive and more units.

Anyone is also noticing patterns like this in the game? Am I crazy or just right on?
