It's confirmed but we don't know for when.

They confirmed him back in February when they confirmed they had started work on OG Black Panther. However, I would suspect it’ll still be a few months before we hear anything else as they said that they hadn’t really done much work yet, but wanted to add new animations and VFX, so that’ll probably take a while for them to get done. Most likely, we’ll see his buff sometime this year, but as for when we don’t have any specific dates yet.

As stated above, it'll be a while. They really want to put some great new vfx but that means in turn that we'll have to wait longer. My guess is end of summer.
