4* Science/Mystic Dual Crystal Not Rewarding Advancement Points

I opened 10 Science/Mystic Dual Crystal and saw that I received no points for the Tech Advancement event. A regular 4* Shard Crystal awarded 2,000 points. Is it intended that Dual crystals don't count towards the event?
