Are 4 star champs still worth it?

Kabam announced that selling champs is no longer possible in the May patch and that they may release content specific to 4 and 3 stars...is it worth investing in 4 stars right now tho??

Normally I wouldn't say so, however I've given up hope getting a decent havok counter for v5 so I'm ranking up a 4 star venom . So take that as you will.

Depends on where you are in the game. If you’re working on acts 1-5, then for sure. And they’ll continue to have uses if Kabam does follow through and release the kind of content they’re talking about.

If you are starting to get 5*s and T2A catalysts, then you may want to put your focus there instead. 4*s still have their uses, but 5*s have much greater longevity.

Probably needed for other variants or custom content down the road.

Level up events to use expiring resources.

For most content though, no they aren't really worth it just for the sake of ranking up if you have a decent 5/6* roster. There are cheese scenarios (cosmic Ronan or cap IF, etc) that can be nice to have a 4* if you need a certain Champ or a duped one with high sig to get a certain ability. We'll, at least if there are no restrictions where 4* aren't allowed.
