Is 5* Venompool useful for any quests and if so how do i use him

I've been told hes not the best champ so i want to utilize his good aspects as much as possible. I have him unawakened btw.

You just don't use him. Keep him as 5* R1, because he's not worth the resources to rank him up. Wait for better.

You might want to let that Venompool collect dust at 5r1 and don't level him up either. Unless he's gonna get a buff later, and even then, wait until the buff is good or not.

One lane in variant 2...I believe chapter 3.2....if you use him there he is the 2nd best option in the game. .. other than that he is worthless. With that being said, he is a prime candidate for a complete overhaul. He's probably the worst champ in the game.....even your war machines and Joe fixxits have more utility.
