Who is the best web-slinging champ in this game?

Between Stealthy and Venom from these options.

So many of these spider champs are very annoying as defenders. And venom is a cheat code against them - the very best attacker for that specific situation.

Out of curiosity - why is stealth SM generally considered better now adays than stark SM? I used to play stark on my old account and besides the amazing damage he had a lot of utility from evading projectiles, to taunt, to power drain, stun, and huge shock damage. What is so special about stealth SM? (Rolled him recently and want to learn how to play him)

Starky's utility is a bit out of date. He's still a great champ but Stealthy ignores miss, evade, and unstoppable, 3 of the most annoying and common defensive abilities in the game in the current meta.

Probably Venom. He's a general lane-clearing beast and absolutely rules Variants, arguably the 2nd most important content for a progressing player. Besides that, he'll probably benefit a lot from Act 7 nodes due to all his abilities.

Stealthy's good too.

-I agree. One other point - Starky was more viable when he was part of the trinity with Blade and GR that everyone was using. But Ghost Rider isn't even a top 10 mystic champion any more, and Blade is only one of the top skill champs when danger sense is active, so Starky no longer has that synergy going for him either. (It wasn't absolutely necessary but was a big help starting the fight with a few charges already)

Venom hands down
1) Spideys/Havok/IMIW counter
2) Buffed up
3) Disstrack
4) Variants 2/5/6 specifically and certainly more than serviceable in v1
5) Sustainable if you can get the health off a buff nullify with SP1
6) Beast in incursions with Buff cornucopia

Can't specifically think of Act 6 or 7 where I used him, but I'm sure I did.

Venom and Carnage can't sling webs, but there is literally a symbiote spiderman that you left off the list. I am a bit confused by the options provided. Also, Agent Venom would not be on the list ^ since again, he is a symbiote but was not a spider-person previously, even if he was in spider storylines.

Wait a second. I’m confused. I googled venom shooting webs and first result I see from screen rant is

“In many incarnations of the Spider-Man story, he generates his webbing from his body, and this was a part of the powers he acquired when the radioactive spider bit him.”

And I think remember seeing him trap Spider-Man in a web so strong Spider-Man struggled to break it

Starky is better that Stealthy IMO. Dude has helped me out so much. Also most of my alliance have both and prefer Starky over Stealthy
