Passive dot is when the damage being done to you isn’t a debuff but a passive effect. This is something like nick fury’s internal bleeds or starburst.

Here’s an example. (This isn’t my picture for the record) The bleed’s on the left are normal debuff bleeds and the ones on the right are passive bleeds.

The best list that I recall seeing was on Jason Voorhees' youtube channel. It was his how to play glad hulk guide. (can't find it on work computer).

Passive damage over time is damage that is not dealt via a debuff, by a passive effect.

For example, magik’s limbo. It doesn’t occur through a debuff, but limbo itself is a passive effect that inflicts passive damage. Same with nodes like starburst - it’s a passive effect that inflicts passive damage. Same deal with rising sun - passive degen dealing passive damage - you get the idea.

Non-debuff damage that is damage over time.

Magik's Limbo, Mephisto's Aura, Starburst, Nick's Internal Bleed, IMIW and Silver Centurion's Plasma, Stryfe's Shock, Warlock's Degeneration (but you won't heal because of infection), EMP Mod node...there's plenty out there.

Magiks limbo.... She get limbo in 2 ways via her special attacks and when she fills her power bar. So face me will activate in both cases or only during power bar filling limbo?

Gulk doesn’t stop her from going into limbo. He regenerates back most of them damage taken from it.

What are these cowardly passive DOT?

Any damage over time done by a passive debuff, be it by a node like Starburst, passive degen, passive choc, etc... or a champion like Magik’s limbo, Fury internal bleed, Omega red spore, Mephisto burning aura etc...

As long as the passive DOT is there, Ghulk will regenerate 70% if any damage received, even from other sources than the passive DOT 😉
