Conditions:
-5 team slots
-Mutants only
-You have the pick of any sig 200 6r2 mutant available in the game
-Nodes and defenders are randomized for every player (assume the worst possible but borderline reasonable combinations)
-Difficulty level is a bit above Act 7.1

Who would you bring?

    OR - Bleed resistance, Poison immune, No damage back
    Red Magneto - All metal champs.
    Colossus - Havok, Incinerate immune, Coldsnap immune
    Emma frost - Immunity, nuff said.
    Apoc - Horseman, Tenacity, Disorient immune.

    Had a really tough time between Emma and AA, but shock immunity won it for Emma since there are no mutants that are shock immune. Only Storm x is resistant to shock.

    Not really. You can look at it that way. But this is a scenario where your choices can interact with each other via synergies, among other considerations.

    AA, Magneto, Omega/Sabre, Colossus would cover a whole lot of things. That's essentially 5 immunities, a damage reflect counter (including limbo), with AAR and heal block against anyone who bleeds/poisons or is metal.

    One reason is because there are very few mutants with poison immunity. Only cable somewhat, iceman and Emma frost in diamond form come to. Mind other than Omega red. Other than that he can easily tackle bleed, poison, damage back and has a very potent regen not to mention nothing is really immune to his degen.

    Good team. Mags is at least resistant to shock debuffs. It's something. AA could have provided you with a non-metal heal block/AAR though?

    Personally, if it's a blind quest, I try not to take AA. There are so many bleed immune and poison immune champs in the game that I feel it is too risky. Another reason for taking Emma is she is only champ immune to passive shock from EMP in the mutant class. Red mags is only immune to shock debuff. She has synergy with both Red Mags and colossus which make them both better.

    Red mags is also good against Non-metal champs since he applies a good bleed from sp3. There are only 9 champs that are bleed immune non-metal champs in the game for which you can use other champs.(Colossus, Groot, King groot, Iceman, GR, White mags, Man thing, Terrax, Thing)

    I think mutant is very stacked that you can almost do any content with a single class. You have stryfe now who is good for long content so almost everything is covered. People will struggle a little bit to do it for every class.

    Omega - Poison, Bleed, Thorns, Purify, and his passive damage can get past a whole lot of annoying mechanics

    Emma - Has every immunity I could possibly want and more, plus is an excellent evade counter, has tanky qualities, plus a few other niche things I might need

    Magneto - Pretty Obvious, but will be the best option for any metal, who tend to be the most annoying defenders

    Archangel - Can shut down anyone that bleeds and poisons. Covering the gaps Mags doesn’t, and he can pretty much do any matchup where he can bleed and poison

    For my final pick, I was a bit undecided. Omega can take Havok if I meet one, but I was concerned about the lack of buff and power control. So it was either Psylocke or Rogue.

    But because a lot of buffs can be countered by other champs, I’m going with Psylocke for power control. Really the only major weakness I foresee this team having is Vision Aarkus, but I’m sure I could Omega that down
