A possible Shang Chi rotation
I've been thinking about Shang Chi's abilities and I think I may have found a decent rotation.
- MM - place 20s slow, +1 chi charge, +34.15 crit damage rating
- Perfectly timed block - gain 1 chi charge
- MLLLM - stun for 1.95s, +1 chi charge, +34.15 crit damage rating
- MLM - gain 3 cleanse passives, +1 chi charge, +34.15 crit damage rating
- MLLM - become unblockable for 1.5s, +1 chi charge, +34.15 crit damage rating
On average you will have landed 2 non guaranteed crits by now
- Throw sp1
- Bait opponents special. While doing so perform perfectly timed blocks/dodges to gain more chi charges and/or hit opponents block to increase crit damage rating if awakened. Perfectly dodging or blocking the opponents special will give you more chi charges
- After opponent has thrown special, heavy counter or, if heavy counter is not possible, perform perfectly timed block and then throw heavy.
- Repeat first 5 steps
With the increased crit rating rating from the heavy attack after the second round of wushu strikes, on average you will have landed an additional 4 non guaranteed crits.
- Throw sp2
Prior to the sp2 you'll have a bare minimum of 8 chi charges to give the sp2 +240% attack rating and around +1721.1 crit damage rating bringing total crit damage to 275.2% (max cruelty was taken into account and crits from the sp1 were not).
Because of the way his crit damage works, it's better to do multiple small sp2s instead of one big sp2.
Hope this helps when you're playing around with the 3*.
