Spiderman in cavalier quest 1 is stupid hard and he evades venom [merged]

What the he'll, this spiderman is just plain stupid.

What am I doing wrong here, he is destroying my whole team.

Venom does not work as well.

Did you read Venom's abilities? He only prevents Spider-Verse evade if he has his Klyntar Buff, which can be remove by pilfered

Use 2 hit combos or heavies. Figure out a way. You're cavalier so you should be able to handle these fights.

Also, just an FYI. Venom will work even with power snack. Spiderman will be able to evade in the first 7 seconds, but if you time it right, you can make the future power snack take away a dexterity buff instead. It's not easy since it needs proper timing though.

I just used Spider Gwen he can't evade with that slow debuff.

Professor X worked well here. Just be careful to dodge his punches because those are unblockable.

Kids gotta grow up sometime. It's pretty ridiculous for cavalier players to be complaining about this type of fight being that this shouldn't be the first time. There's a Spiderman in act 5 that has buffet.

If you can't figure out a way to beat spiderman without true strike or venom, you probably don't need to be cavalier.

sadly, I agree with Demonz here. Part of the game is figuring out counters. This isnt even a niche fight.

OP, a better way to phrase this thread is asking for viable counters, rather than say a fight is bs. There is a plethora of information if you wish to tap into it.

Did it with the aforementioned counters; Professor X, and Stealthy, which is a little more risky getting to the 5th hit.

Nick doesn’t work well because of Pilfer

Nick works...just used him for that fight...u gotta let the power snack eat a dex and then trigger ur second life...although I am pretty sure u can do that fight with him in his first life as well...just build to almost 2 bars and throw 2 sp1 in quick succession...after that just play normally and keep throwing sp1....fury will remain above 5 charges
