Ghost Rider Update Suggestion
I've always been a Ghost Rider fan, and ever since I pulled Cosmic Ghost Rider I've been thinking of how the OG version could be updated. These changes are not too drastic, they just correct some things that annoy me.
First: I don't like his signature ability. Or rather, I don't like that you need to have him awakened to get access to his full rotation. It deserves to come with the character when you first pull him, so I've included his previous signature ability among his base kit.
Second: Since I removed his signature ability, I've created a new one. He is no longer just immune to Incinerate damage - he can also reflect it.
Third: I dislike how he can become quite the noodle if his abilities don't trigger, either due to chance or due to ability accuracy modifiers. As such, I've added a little extra to his kit. Whenever an ability fails to trigger, he gains a Penance Stare passive charge. These are consumed during his SP3 to increase its damage. This means that the SP3 can hit very hard if things go wrong elsewhere.
Signature Ability - Spirit of Vengeance
When taking Incinerate damage, 70% chance to lower Incinerate resistance by 100%. All Incinerate damage taken is stored for 10 seconds and is reflected back to the opponent as a burst of Direct Damage upon activation of the next Judgement.
If no new Judgement is activated in that time, convert the damage into a Power Gain Buff granting 15% Power over 5 seconds.
Passive
* A lack of blood provides immunity to Bleed.
* Being wreathed in Hellfire provides full immunity to Incinerate.
Evil’s Bane (passive)
* Against #Villains, Ghost Rider has a +20% chance to place Judgments and gains +460 Armor and Critical Rating.
* Against Cosmic champions, Ghost Rider Nullifies a Buff if a Judgement fails to trigger.
* Against Cosmic #Villains, replace any Nullified Buff with an Incinerate Debuff doing 2500 damage over 4 seconds. This can only trigger once per failed Judgement.
Judgement (passive)
Ghost Rider can see his opponent's transgressions and place Judgments upon them. Judgments can only be applied once each cycle and last indefinitely.
The duration of each Judgement's secondary effect is increased by 75% for each active Judgement. The potency is increased by 10% for each active Judgement.
Judgement of Corruption
* When finishing a 5-hit combo with a Medium attack, 65% chance to gain a Fury buff, providing 2618 attack for 7.5 seconds.
* If the opponent is a #Villain, gain a Penance Stare passive charge upon activation.
* On failure: Gain 1 Penance Stare passive charge. This is not affected by Ability Accuracy Modifiers.
Judgement of Spite
* When finishing a 5-hit combo with a light attack, Inflicts Bleed, 70% chance to deal 2500 direct damage over 3 seconds.
* If the opponent is a #Villain, gain a Penance Stare passive charge upon activation.
* On failure: Gain 1 Penance Stare passive charge. This is not affected by Ability Accuracy Modifiers.
Judgement of Malice
* On Heavy attack, 80% chance to gain a Lifesteal passive for 5.75 seconds that steals 4% Missing Health with each attack.
* After charging the Heavy attack for 0,5 seconds, gain an Unstoppable Buff during the remaining charge. If the opponent hits into you while Unstoppable is active, 100% to activate Judgement of Malice.
Judgement of Pride
* On Special 1, 70% chance to Fate Seal the opponent, nullifying all buffs and any other buffs gained for 5 seconds. Then gain a Penance Stare passive charge.
* If the opponent is a #Villain, gain an additional Penance Stare passive charge upon activation.
* On failure: Gain 2 Penance Stare passive charge. This is not affected by Ability Accuracy Modifiers.
Judgement of Anger
* Special 2, 80% chance to inflict Power Drain, depleting 18% max power over 2 seconds. Then gain a Penance Stare passive charge.
* If the opponent is a #Villain, gain an additional Penance Stare passive charge upon activation.
* On failure: Gain 3 Penance Stare passive charges. This is not affected by Ability Accuracy Modifiers.
Penance Stare
On Special 3, 100% chance to inflict Damnation for 4 seconds. Opponents under Damnation are Power Locked, Heal Blocked and Fate Sealed.
Penance Stare also gains +950 attack per Penance Stare charge.
When Damnation expires, all Judgments are removed from the opponent and can be applied again.
