Power issue ban

How will kabam judge if players knew the ban knowingly? Is it based on how many fights you did? Because i did heroic EQ once with the bug because I thought it was strange not getting any power from the hits i took and when i did it again with a energy refill i had i want a bit of clarification for that

I did 2 rol fights, both were to see what was going on (1 initially then 1 when I’d restarted and retried the tutorial thing) hopefully nothing comes of it, I don’t know how they’re going to judge it

I did some uc eq without even realizing because i was just tapping and doing something else. Half of the time i left my tankiest champs to auto fight it. If i get banned for that, I will just laugh.

Yeah, they need to find the line between people trying it out and people trying to actually get stuff from it, to me that would be completing a quests path that has not yet been completed/doing a carina challenge, but who knows

Yeah i had an energy refill and half way in the second time i did heroic i got my power back so like i said im really worried about being banned I didn’t find it it was a glitch til i finished it the first time

Please don’t. I can redo the path in cav eq if it’s so valuable that it warrants a ban.

I didn’t even notice the bug, looks like I’m getting banned for it

They'll likely look at people who were running the Carina challenges to completion. We'll probably never know who gets targeted. Not a fan of bans for shoddy code... I'm sure some people wouldn't have even realized it was happening while others purposely took advantage, bit how would you be able to tell, really?

Bugs like this sure get fixed quick. Yet, Persistent charge issues that have cost me quite a few items between AW, AQ and some of monthly EQ when NF starts instantly entering into 2nd phase sure sucks and I guess I just have to deal with it because it's not really hurting Kabam's bottom line.

Once again a pro player bug and kabams on it, yet still no fix forthe pro kabam bug that messes up persistent charges all the time. They say don't exploit this cause it's unfair but it's never unfair when it costs us pots, revives, units or real money for their mistakes. And to be fair, this is a mistake. I don't believe any intent to do this happened but problems occur for us and it just gets to whenever.

And let's not forget the bug few days ago that allow ppl to finish carina challenge with Champs other than cyclops.. Nothing was done about that..

Damn I soloed the abyss luke cage and thing with my newly ranked she hulk just for the sake of fun (already explored abyss 100% a long ago)...... I don't know what to do and really scared!!!

I did like 2 fights (GoldPool & Air Walker) but the bug wasn’t even there 🤣

I only completed every Carina challenge and finished exploring all other content. But I wasn't sure what was going on so I was just testing things out.

Doing a couple fights is one thing, but exploiting it to complete content is another. Imagine there was a bug that every hit one shotted the opponent and someone used that to go through abyss and beat the collector. That’s an exploit.

If someone uses a bug to complete content knowingly that is exploiting and by the terms and services you sign up to to play this game is subject to bans. It’s the rules you agree to by playing the game.

I already quitted after killing luke cage to burn my energy in eq!!! As I said it was only for fun and was gaining no ingame item but I don't know how they will see it!!

Sounds like im going to get f***ed. Despite not even realizing the bug. Well, maybe it is best. I am getting tired of this game’s bulls***.
I don't understand why you'd say this in the first place. You said you didn't do it on purpose and Boo said only people who did it deliberately MAY face consequences. You didn't do it on purpose and there's probably nothing that would lead to that being the case but you're acting like they are already banning you.

How are they supposed to know? I went through 4 quests. And my patience with kabam is at an all time low. Its not just this event. Its numerous. I obviously have nothing against Boo. I dont want to shoot the messager, but after 5 months of persistent charge bug, and seeing how fast this was patched, its too much.

I thought it was a node or something I did a path in EQ and never gained power. Why would they put out a message promoting that we are using an exploit when it’s their problem. For months Kabam this game has had so many bugs and problems. Fix the game and stop blaming players. We deserve compensation for all the **** we deal with monthly.

Did you actually read the in-game message?

"We are currently working to address an exploitable issue causing some players to play without either the Attacker or Defender gaining power. To fix this issue for yourself, completely close and re-open the game".

"The exploitation of this bug is an unfair advantage and will not be tolerated. Actions may be taken against Summoners that knowingly take advantage of this issue, including suspension of account services".

They aren't blaming anyone except anyone who would go out and purposely abuse the bug. It's nothing that's not already in the ToS as well. All they are doing what people have been asking for for years. People complain that you have to come here to find out issues and now when they send in-game messages, you are upset.

Exploiting bugs/glitches/anything has always been against ToS but every time someone does it, you act surprised Kabam might do something.

It's not our fault when you have at least one bug a week.

That's what is happening and I record a podcast weekly that always has a bug discussion.

When will Incursions be discussed as a message? That cost many units and deserves compensation.

Exactly. We don't get the same respect. If it's a bug that could help the customers (we are players AND your customers) it's fixed extremely fast and then we are talked down toward.

If it's negative like the Persistent charges bug or today's bug, we are threatened and then game goes down during War Season fights.

Can we just stop with that misconception? Many "pro player" bugs have been present a long time. They're not picking and choosing which to fix. Any bug is not a good thing, regardless of whether it can be fixed immediately or not.

You're correct. All bugs are bad. But you also know exactly what I'm speaking about as well as it being true about what takes precedence of fixing.

Persistent Charges bug has been around since at least August 2020. That's 10 months and we have had to deal with it.

Incursions Bug has been two weeks, but instead of taking Incursions down, I'm getting daily solo Objectives to complete zones in Incursions.

This isn't right and a lot of the customers (aka and often refered to as "player base") are becoming tired of it.

We are not children, we come to the forums for help and to voice our opinions. But it always seems to fall on deaf ears and people want to defend things that we would not tolerate anywhere as someone with long-term investments toward a product (MCOC).

I assume you mean like the havok abyss bug, or Starburst not doing damage, moleman having true accuracy above ten monster mass, tigra ignoring mordos astral evade. Any of those?
