Do abilities interact with Vital Strikes node?

One of the Cavalier nodes on Shang Chi is Vital Strikes -2 (When the Defender strikes the Attacker's block, the Defender regenerates 500% of the damage dealt).

Does Petrify (like using Void), Heal block debuffs (like Doc Ock), or Warlock infection passives block or interact with it?
