I read the part about wanting more deaths in tier 1....it's really about more diversity. I am a quake user. When you look at AW you'll see as many as 7 quakes on attack. Quake is not being offered as a 6 star in part because of that. Attacker diversity would address it. In other words just like defensive diversity offensive diversity would matter. Each additional beyond one dupe would be more penal. It makes more sense than making contrived nodes to nerf the best attackers.
Also, for the love of all that is holy get rid of nodes left up as a way to gain points. There is one alliance floating in master that was putting up no defenders. You can lose by not having defense in...but it should not add to the opponent score. No one in tier one really leaves nodes up unless they are paid off, cheating, or the war does not matter.
