By collecting data, i meant you might be working on kabam dev team, seeing whom players love, and whom they don't.

Regarding your queries, there are tons of threads with all the information you need. Hope you enjoy browsing them!

Also, please don't try and start controversies. There's a lot of conflict going on with the arenas. We don't need another thread having people fighting.

I really liked the idea of psycho man he seemed to have an interesting kit especially with the special lock mechanic but even with his furies he just hit like a noodle. And then Kabam nerfed his special lock so he could no longer infinite heavy chain. Now he's just a champ with bad damage, interesting but ultimately pointless utility, animations that can cause seizures, and he has no immunities. People said he was maw bad on release and even though I was optimistic about him early on I have grown to realize that he is really maw bad. Then again maw is getting buffed next month so if the buff is meaningful Psycho man won't even be maw bad anymore he will truly just be bad.

I really like the champ, and wanted him to be good enough to pour rank up materials into.

Unfortunately the buff didn’t really move him up the ranks in terms of being better than others who do similar things.

How is civil warrior worse than nova lol. Civil warrior has usable utility in his nullify and stagger immunity, nova is just as awful as before

Have a duped 6 and for being a very interesting skrull as have all powers of the f4 he just doesnt even come close to any of them 4 hope to see a buff in numbers as a r1 testing duped even the damage boost in act 7 doesnt help him to be better

This is the misconception about the buffs.

Overhaul =/= best champion ever

All the buffs mean is that they take a champion who is underperforming and they improve them so they aren’t a bad pull for your average player. Just because a champion isn’t the next god tier doesn’t mean the buff is bad.

How good a champion is after the buff is not linked to the level of buff, tune up, moderate or overhaul. You could have a tune up that takes a poor champion and makes them the next god tier, or you could have an overhaul that takes a poor champion and makes them a decent champ to have in late act 5 for a progressing player.

The only difference between tune up, moderate or overhaul is the champion pre buff. Do they have abilities to work with and numbers can be tuned up, do they have a framework of good abilities but they need a little more with a moderate update, or do they have nothing- and they need an overhaul.

Magneto has started this misconception that overhaul is code for this champion is going to be crazy good.

DDNF buff was extremely successful, at making him a better pull than before. He is now the best miss counter in the game, has nice shrug off utility, decent enough damage, nice DAAR. He’s not going to be any end game players first pick, but that does not make it a bad buff. It is a successful buff for mid tier players pulling him as their first 5 or 6*. Which is what the buffs are meant to do- even if occasionally we will get a falcon or magneto level buff.
