UNIT CRISIS. ENERGY REFILL ISSUE. SOLVE IT KABAM

I completed the EQ Run today and i have run into a problem.

I needed some extra shards and t5bc so i was planning to do the exploration run. But i cannot. Because the cost of energy refill is thirty units each. And i dont have that many units to buy energy for the entire eq exploration run.

Previously with the four star and five star arena, unit farming was so much easier. But now with the arena nerf and with my limited six star roster, i dont expect to get much units anyway. So what should i do now ? Do you really want us to leave the game KABAM ? Do you only want whales to play this game ?

Btw i was a spender before the Arena nerf. After the nerf, i have stopped spending coz i feel you dont care about the middle tier player base anymore. So please solve this unit crisis as early as possible or this game will be dead pretty soon.

Eventhou it is harder, it is not like you cannot get any units anymore.
I get your point. But even if you can just do the summoner trials you can still get 265 units per round (adding the 22h and 3day events into that) which gives 31152 per year and 2596 per month.
However!!! Things still need to change! And arena should be toned down again.
But to say you cannot explore EQ because of too little units says more about your skill than about the units available.
Eventhou I think it should still be slightly higher.

I think they thought about this since the game came out and they decided not to do anything. 6 minutes for 1 single energy is a joke. If you buy summoner sigil you get 1 minute discount and you wait 5 minutes which is another big joke. It should be 2 minutes and 1 minute for players who buy sigil.

Tbh my advice is to grind 5.3.6 when you don’t have content to use energy on, it doesn’t help too much when you need energy immediately but as preparation for the future I advice grinding this quest when there are gaps in content. For example I have been grinding this quest nonstop to prepare for 7.2 lol

And what I am saying is that you can still get 2500 units quite easily to buy those refills with. That is still get 83 refills with that. That is 5810 energy which is more than enough to explore it 3 times over.
If units were so easy before he could have had a stash of them to buy the refills with.
I know some players are hit harder with regards to units. Especially collected players. But people are acting like they cannot get any units at all. Which he couldnt have gotten anyways today since there is no arena active that has units.
This is more about resource management than the lack of units, since the new arena's have only been active for 1 round.

Energy is free and you still have 2 weeks left. There's units in the lower difficulties as well. There's no unit crisis. Stop being overly dramic.

How dare you talk logic in the face of adversity/s. People blaming every single thing for arena is a little funny now. The unit gain has reduced and the arena is not as efficient as it was earlier for people with small to medium rosters. Blaming not able to buy energy refills because of arena change is kinda crazy.

Those shards are available regardless of when you do the eq. Kabam lives impatient people like you who want everything NOW. Use the free refill to complete the eq. I never use energy refills to complete monthly eq. Only even buy energy refill to do permanent content.

You might have a different way of doing things... I respect that... but i have my way... i like to do stuffs at a single go... U also seem to be someone who is been playing this game for long... So maybe u dont have any problem with the current arena unit grinding issue... Had i been in ur place.. i would probably react in the same way.... People like u with large roster simply wont be able to understand the problems mid tier players r facing

That is just the first shortage this new arena is going to result in! Eventually, over the space of a few arenas you will start to feel iso shortages, then you will notice it is taking much longer to complete 5 stars and have the iso neccessary to rank them, less gold to use for ranking, less units to buy energy (that is so is becomes more difficult to 100% 3 or more of the 5 eqs every month) fewer units for unit offers. It will have a snowball effect! Energy refills is just the beginning of the shortages we are gonna experience.

That will then trickle down into lost points in solo events and alliance events. Few dupes= few points on advancement...etc. Fewer paths completed on eqs=fewer points on completion. So this change in the arena is going to have a negative ripple effect...for f2p players primarily.
And previously you could collect 30 units quick in an arena if you need them. You aren't feeling it yet! But you will!

I have been playing the game for a little over 3 years. I personally don't have a problem with the current arena, but I know it is an issue for small to medium roster, so let''s get out of the way. I may not be a mid tier player now, but I understand the problems of mid-tier players because I was mid-tier once. I don't think arena is your issue, but resource management. Impatience to get things is what the game monetizes and that is what leads to resource shortage.

So if you KNOW you are a player like that. Where is the unit stash you saved up to buy all those refills otherwise. If you want to do it in 1 go you would have to buy roughly 15 refills. This is 450 units. If you have a small roster you would not have been able to grind those units in 1 arena round. And that is how much we have had so far of the new arena.

You knew you wanted to complete it in 1 go. So save up your free refills. Save up units to buy the other refills.
Sorry, but this problem simply cannot be blamed on the new arena's. Since even if you used to grind 3 total arena's of the lowest rarity you still would only have lost 125 units if you were only able to do the lowest arena now (which would have cost you less rounds compared to doing 3 old arena's) that is only 4 refills. That will make a difference for sure. But should not have any effect on your current situation. Your current situation is mostly on yourself and poor resource management instead of the lower units you can grind (which still is really bad, and I hope they 'fix' the current arena's)

Or alternatively, you will start to get 5 star shards from the rank rewards in arena, develop your 5 star and 6 star roster. Do some content, develop the roster and some more and eventually have a big enough roster to get all the milestones easily just like I did in the old arena system.

I still remember not being able to hit even the 1 mill mark in the arena when the 5 star featured first came out. I grinded like a madman using my 5 or 6 5 stars and some 15 4 maxed 4 stars to hit the 1 mill to get those 200 5 star shards from the lowest rank reward. Those 100 units from the rest of those milestones were not available for me for a long time. Even the 4 star featured 135 units was not available for some time because of my roster.

The main issue I see is that we need to use 6 stars in both basic and featured arena now. If Kabam could reduce the basic arena milestone and restrict that to 5 star only, that would solve most of the issues. Give the 3 star featured at close to 650k. 4 star featured can still be in the same milestone since earlier you needed to compete for a 4 star featured, now you get that guaranteed from arena. The increased milestone is a price for that assured featured champ.

And 125 units? Based on that statement i am gonna guess you play the featured 5 star arena only and open uncollected arena crystals cause i don't end an arena cycle without picking up 400-600 units...so something wrong with your calculations!
And because i can acquire that much in an arena cycle they wanna find a way to stop it.
Cause if i can do it so can others!

They give you energy every 6 mins, how is the fact your impatient Kabam's Issue? you can easily explore over the space of a week or so but you want to buy energy packs to do it in a day
