Can we get this feature removed or changed

So I decided to start exploring Act 5 and am starting from 5.4.6 just to get it out of the way.

I am 94% done and have no idea where the 6% not explored is

Can we get the feature that prevents you from zooming out removed or at least incorporate a system like Forged to Fight that tells you which paths are partially explored. I ask this because it costs 3 energy per path.

That’s smart to start from the hardest quest

Yeah it’s just easier that way IMO

Truth be told fixed camera maps have always been super dumb. We will have maps out in a day of so. These fixed camera maps are just annoying

I don’t like this idea. I like being able to see that I’m going up against than going in completely blind

Have you googled the picture of the map to trace your steps?

The only logical reason I can think of for it to be this way is to mitigate revive farming, but I'm pretty sure we have better places to do that.

Now, if the fights were randomized... well, I'd see the reason but I'd still think it's dumb. Kinda like JRPG random encounters-dumb. Chrono Trigger baby, another reason I love that game.

I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with revive farming, as the same camera lock is implemented in the Labyrinth for what the devs stated in the past were atmospheric reasons (to replicate the feel of being lost in a maze). A lot of design decisions are made on that basis, specifically to cater to players that actually care about the experience of the game as much as the grind through the content. It is the same reason the devs spend a lot of time making new maps every month for EQ, even though a large fraction of players don't actually care what the paths look like or could describe them once they've completed them.

So everybody who didn't enjoy the mechanic is somebody who doesn't care about the 'experience of the game'? Lol. You might've enjoyed it, but I'd be willing to bet that most players didn't. Does their experience just not count?

You cant farm revives in act 5 because of the key system.
