Smorgasbord Platinumpool

Going for 7.2 100%; took a path that led to the smorgasbord Platinumpool, and I'm a little confused because he's not shrugging off my debuffs. I brought in a high sig CapIW with a couple synergies and just laid into him with parry, thinking he'd stack debuffs quickly enough, but about half the time the debuffs shrugged off and the other half of the time they didn't. I was unable get to 10 snack charges. Is there something that I'm missing in the node? Or is this not working as intended?

Description of the Issue: smorgasbord clearly indicates that the opponent will shrug off all incoming debuffs, but he didn't shrug off all of the ones that I applied to him. About half the time the debuffs I applied actually went through, meaning that I couldn't get the opponent to 10 snack charges and avoid his regeneration.
