Event Quest Mods
The TL;DR version: add Cavalier nodes to lower difficulties for increased challenge and matching rewards, for those who want it.
The long version: When looking through the nodes for next month's Cavalier difficulty, I was thinking about which characters to rank up. There have been a few issues in the past with certain champions, where some seemingly logical counters to certain nodes haven't triggered the intended Fury/Prowess/whatever boosts for one reason or another. It took a month for Falcon to work against the evade node in the Skill chapter, and I was surprised that my Archangel didn't get any bonuses when he completely shut down the regen node in the Mutant chapter last month.
So, what to do?
Well, I was thinking: is there some way to make the lesser difficulties more interesting to explore, while simultaneously allowing players to try out whether certain champions work well as node-counters? How about an option to turn those nodes on in lower difficulties, with some kind of additional reward for completing it that way? I certainly don't think those nodes should be mandatory but it would be fun to be able to try them out with lower-rank champions before deciding on which champs to rank up for Cav difficulty. It would also incentivize at least me to rank up my 4* champions for something else than just as Arena or Level Up Event fodder.
Plus, there really needs to be a bigger reason to explore lower-level content. I tend to run through the lower difficulties for the T1A, T4B and units there since I don't earn any from Cavalier difficulty, but it would be refreshing to not only have a rewards-based reason to explore them but also an additional challenge to them so that you don't just sleep through every fight or let the AI do everything for you. That's so incredibly tedious, yet requires the same amount of energy per day as Cavalier exploration does.
If people don't want to use those additional nodes, they should be free to ignore them completely. Kind of like how you can run through Cavalier difficulty with 4*s to earn t5cc crystals from the Objectives, but can also just not give a hoot about that particular challenge and instead just complete the difficulty in the normal way.
What do you guys think?
