Bishop Buff Idea

I think that Bishop is about equal parts overlooked and flawed. He is great against opponents that deal energy damage and his SP2 can deal a truly insane amount of damage when he has a lot of prowess. However, he often falls short against opponents that don't deal energy damage, his healing-on-block is too small to ever be truly useful and his inability to stay at max power for long is too annoying given his general lack of payoff.

I tried to change a lot of that, while still keeping true to his current kit. One of the biggest changes is to remove the small block healing and moving that to his Overload stage, and in turn removing the health loss from there. Now, players can choose to either activate a very potent special attack at a substantial power discount or, once per fight, let the overload expire and gain an enormous regeneration effect. 35 health per prowess might not seem too impressive on first look, but it really adds up considering that the prowess falls off one after the other.

I've also really liked his SP1 ability to bypass a lot of annoying defenses, so I expanded on that a bit. You can now stack two of these effects for extra damage, and keep them between fights under certain conditions.

Signature Ability - Steadfast

Bishop prepares unique bonuses depending on how many full Bars of Power he has at the start of the fight. All bonuses stack.

0 Bars: With a stack of 10 or more Prowess, opponents lose 80% Ability Accuracy.
1 Bar: While Blocking, gain Stun immunity and a 25% chance to Incinerate opponents that strike your Block.
2 Bars: Heavy and Special Attacks gain True Accuracy.
3 Bars: Start the fight with an extra Biokinetic Energy charge as well as max Energy Projectiles.

Persistent Power Meter

Bishop’s mastery over energy and time enables him to enter a fight with 100% of the Power he finished his previous fight in the same Quest with.

Energy Transference

4000 Energy Resistance at all times.

Energy Damage abilities against Bishop have a 50% chance with each tick to generate 2% Power plus 1 stack of Prowess. When fighting Tech champions, Bishop gains no Power and the chance to generate Prowess is reduced to 25%.

Absorbs the kinetic energy of a Well-Timed Block to generate 5% Power and 3 stacks of Prowess. Prowess gained in this way is doubled against Skill champions and tripled against Energy-based Special Attacks. When fighting Tech champions, Bishop generates no Power and only gains 1 stack of Prowess.

Each stack of Prowess is spent when using Heavy or Special Attacks, increasing their damage by 10%.

Blocking

Well-Timed Block has a 100% chance to grant Bishop an Energy Projectile used in his Heavy Attacks. Max 6.

Every hit into Bishop's Block consumes two Prowess and grants him 450 additional Block Proficiency for 2 seconds. Additionally, Bishop consumes one Prowess to Purify one damaging Debuff for every 0,5 seconds he holds Block.

Heavy Attacks

Each hit of this attack has a 70% chance to use an Energy Projectile to inflict the enemy with an Incineration Debuff over 4 seconds.

Charging the attack steadily consumes Prowess to increase its range. If a maximum of 10 stacks of Prowess are consumed, double its range and extend the damage and duration of Incinerate Debuffs by 25%.

Incinerated Opponents

When striking an Incinerated opponent with basic attacks, 15% chance to gain an additional Prowess with each hit.

When striking an Incinerated opponent with Special Attacks, 30% chance to Detonate any Incinerate Debuffs for 120% of their remaining damage and steal 1% of the opponent’s Power for each Prowess on Bishop.

Warning: Power Overload!

When Bishop reaches 30 Prowess, he instantly goes into Overload for 10 seconds.

While in Overload, Bishop gains up to 3 Energy Projectiles and he can Parry non-contact attacks. Well-Timed Blocks let him automatically punish these attacks with a Heavy Attack of his own, each hit having a 100% chance to use an Energy Projectile to inflict the opponent with an Incineration Debuff lasting until Bishop’s Overload ends.

Overload ends if Bishop activates any Special Attack. This Special Attack costs 7% less Power for each second Bishop spent in Overload prior to activating it.

If Overload expires naturally, Bishop’s Prowess falls off steadily. The first time this happens in a fight, each Prowess Regenerates 35 Health per Prowess active over 15 seconds. While this occurs, Bishop cannot gain new Prowess or Purify Debuffs. This healing is interrupted if Bishop is Stunned or receives any Energy Damage, both effects resetting his Prowess at 0.

Special Attack 1

Refunds 15% of all Prowess.

100% chance to gain a Biokinetic Energy charge for 25 seconds. While active, 100% of basic attack damage is replaced with a burst of non-contact Energy Damage, allowing Bishop to mitigate Armor and abilities that reflect damage. This bonus Energy Damage is increased by 6% for each Prowess on Bishop.

These Biokinetic Energy charges can stack up to 2 times, with the second adding an additional 50% Energy Damage to his basic attacks. If Bishop finishes a fight with at least one charge active, he begins the next fight with one for 12 seconds.

Up to 40% of this Energy Damage penetrates the enemy Block. If 2 stacks are active, Special Attacks become Unblockable for the duration.

Special Attack 2

Refunds 25% of all Prowess.

50% damage if activated within the first 12 seconds of the fight.

If this attack strikes the opponent’s Block, Prowess does no extra damage and instead Power Burn the opponent for 1% Power per Prowess. This does not refund any Prowess.

Special Attack 3

Refunds 40% of all Prowess.

If at 0 Biokinetic Energy charges, this attack does 30% against enemies above 80% health and 50% against enemies below 25% health. For each charge, the attack does 20% extra damage and increases the respective Health threshold by 5%.

Against enemies at full health, this attack does 125% extra damage and places an 8-second Incinerate Debuff on the opponent for each of Bishop's Biokinetic Energy charges.
