Event Quest Completion could use an update
So, the 22h Event Quest Completion event is always really annoying. Could we have some changes to it somehow? I've been running through chapter 2 in Cavalier difficulty all day today and hardly put a dent in the event, so I decided to math things out a bit to try and figure out why I'm progressing so slow despite putting in some solid work (in my eyes).
Spread out over all of Cavalier, there are enough points for just over 4 event completions. That seems nice and reasonable, right? The thing is, it's really hard to reach those points within those specific timeframes since you have to compete with the energy limits.
A single last-quest run requires 63 energy, meaning you can only do one per session without any energy refills. The energy spent then takes around 6 hours to refill naturally, so you can only run that quest about 3 times during that 22 hour period. That's assuming everything works out and you can actually get in all your sleep and dinner and work or studies or whatnot in-between all of those waiting times, which obviously is far from a given.
3 runs through the last quest nets you 21000 points, which is not even enough to reach the 4th milestone. It is such a slog and so hard to reach all 5 milestones without using any energy refills. If you buy a refill, you end up losing units anyway (especially since you don't gain any in Cavalier difficulty).
So can we please make some changes to it? While the other 22-hour events are quite fun and can be knocked out relatively simply, this one is annoying, tedious, and rarely worthwhile. This becomes even more of an issue when you have this event pop up at the end of the month, after you've already completed all of the high-difficulty EQs. While you can grind in Proving Grounds or the daily Class Quests, that's incredibly tedious.
I don't know how to solve this, but I was thinking that maybe rewarding points based on how much energy is spent in quests could be a way to go. If you spend 22 hours worth of points, you reach the last milestone. That way, you could also allow the completion of other stuff to count as well, like story quests, sidequests, or variants.
Any other suggestions?
