Kingpin purify with Hood synergy

I'm fairly new to KP but from what I've heard with the Hood synergy he should shrug off all debuffs. Reading his abilities and the synergy comes across the same way, so am I missing something here or is there a reason he's not dropping both suicide debuffs and carries other debuffs picked up along the way?

After shrugging one debuff it has 0.5 sec cooldown. So if he gets 2 or more debuffs at same time he can shrug only one
