as the tiyle says this month the typical june seems a tad boring (not counting the special TB challenge) . but that tends to be the way before a big day(s) like 4th of july it makes for lower expectations an the boom everything looks sooo much better bring on next month

There are typically a few months that feel emptier than others. January for example, after all the things we get in December, as you said June because the overhype for July 4th starts kicking in and people get impatient, and around September it happens again because October events are usually interesting the summoner appreciation calendar is coming to a close and Black Friday/Cyber Monday is coming in November.

This is just the usual cycle of the game, you get used to it after a few years.
