Gotta ask this about AI

so recent past i have been experiencing weird AI movements. in monthly eq enemy does not throw special attack until it breaks your hit combo, this does not happen all time but it's quite annoying, more i look in to this the more weirder it gets. so wanted to ask if anyone here has been experiencing the same thing?

AI intercepted me with a light then a medium today in ROL

I actually was noticing how the AI plays my champoon on autofight. It seems that the AI is way better at backdraft intercept than me.

We usually try not to do backdraft intercept in the middle of the platform (or map, or screen), but the AI seemed to be an expert at it. I was actually surprised to see that.

AI has been special intercepting and light intercepting me way more often. On the bright side though it's easier to bait heavies.
