Did kabam tweak the ai in cavalier difficulty

I came back to the game after few months .
Defenders in cavalier difficulty are double dashing back and intercepting my dash attacks .
Is this normal and I'm just rusted or something has been changed ?

    I swear they are dodging my attacks as if they want to bait a special out of me .
